Default Which weight of Amsoil to use

I am debating between using Amsoil 10-40 or 20-50 this summer in both the grizz and the kody. Does anyone have any input on this? Thanks in advance.

I used 10-40 in my raptor 660 and plan to use the same in my raptor 700.

Be careful about using amsoil in your quads. I think amsoil is a fine product, but I'm sure there's some moly in it and I don't think that's good for your clutch. Have you talked to amsoil or checked there website??

The 10w-40 and and 20-w50 oil for motorcycles are designed for use in wet clutchs so they have no moly. I run the 10W-40 in the Warrior, and in my 250r and Blaster's trannies.

They have a specific "ATV blend" for 4 stroke applications with wet clutch systems. (This is what I plan to use, I previously used thier 10-40 synthetic oil in my old raptor 660).

See their website, www.amsoil.com/storefront/aff.aspx
