The whole atv???? wtf?

Or just the racks?

Or the fenders?

Or the frame?

The frame would be a major PIA!

The racks wouldn't be very durable because of the lack of surfice area, the stuff would twist on the tubes and not only that but usually they need to get it about 1/4 thick, making your tubes almost double in size!

The fenders would have some adhesion problems, not to mention weight issues

In other words, no.

the only thing I would concider would be like a coating if you had a board or box or something covering your racks. Like the bottom of an ammo box you've strapped on.

I just mean the plastic and racks. Line-x is a little different from most spray ons i think it would stick!

I spray it for a living. It's really not much different than any other hot spray on the market. And no, it won't stick.

Sprayed polyurethanes won't stick to plastic. That's why we line our spray booths with plastic sheeting, so we can peel the overspray off with ease. Whenever I have a customer argue with me about the adhesion of this stuff to plastic I just tell them to go in my spray booth and peel my walls. I then ask them if they still want me to do the job. I am amazed at how many people who don't do this for a living have such a great knowledge of the products and processes.

The weight of spraying plastic doesn't make it worthwhile either. The fenders will droop quite a bit due to the weight of the product.

Didn't say it couldn't be done. Hell, I've done it. I wouldn't take money from a customer for doing it though. People talk. It's not worth it to take some money from someone just because they insist on having something done only to later have your name ruined by a person talking slander.

Would you care to come to my shop and tell me everything you know about the business? Apparently my ten years of doing it for a living means I have no clue what I'm talking about.

There was a legit question asked here. I would assume that they were looking for an answer from someone that has some experience in the field. If I didn't know I wouldn't have answered.

It takes me about ten minutes to completely peel the overspray off of the plastic on the walls of my spray booth.

I would listen to Buck on this one

I know a little about it because a friend of mine was in the busniss and we chatted some on the subject. I also seen him peeling his booth

Speaking of Line-X and such, I wouldn't mind stripping the carpet out of my 95 Dodge and squirting the floorboards....would be awesome for muddy boots!
