Not sure if to buy a new honda or make my raptor a 686. Anybody out there raced a 450 honda or own one. Is it worth buy a new bike or not?

 

It depends what you want out of a bike! If you want a track bike then go with the honda, if you want a good all around bike and straight line, then I would definately go with the 686.. I can get a 450 with my 660 equal mods, in a straight line, but in whoops or jumps the honda will perform better!

 

The honda is lighter and feels small and easy to throw around, but looking at your suspension I would say keep the raptor and 686 it, you will like it more in the desert and dunes. On the 450 you will get tossed around more in thos conditions, but the honda is still a very good bike.
