I can't agree with that statement, not that the CT isn't a good pipe, I was all set to buy one myself , but the LTE duals are better in the mid range by a fair amount and have better torque numbers than the CT pipe as well as all the others for the 700R. I'm not saying that just because I have the LTE's. If they come out with a pipe that has better mid range that also makes as much on the bottom and the top as the LTE's I'll buy it, I have no brand loyalty. Right now there isn't one that has as good of an overall HP & Torque curve across the usable power range as the LTE's that I am aware of.

All the single pipes for the 700R are pretty equal from what I've seen.

If you want the most top end and plan on internal mods later on, and don't mind out of frame pipes, then the Barkers would be the best choice

From what ive seen, Trinity has the best header design. The y pipe is places farther back than any others ive seen. This gets you the low end torque, then the 2.25" intermediate pipe gets you the mid-top.

A friend of mine has a Big Gun system. It goes to a ypipe right away and only has a 2" intermediate pipe, not to mention the springs that hold the piping together look terrible and rattle.

AS far as a dual setup, I could only reccomend those if you were gonna do a big cam, with head porting, big valves, ect.. With as much volume as duals provide, the exhaust is allowed to cool and flow slower, therby losing power. It doesnt make sense to put duals on something that is merely gonna see a filter without a lid and a programmer.

GLAMMIS700 WOULD YOU SUGGEST THE TRINITY OVER THE SPARKS PIPE, I WOULD NOT BE GETTING THE SPARK ARRESTOR IN THE SPARK BECAUSE I HATE THAT LOOK, JUST MY OPINION, I WOULD TAKE THE BETTER LOOKING PIPE VS THAT DISK LOOK. I READ IN ANOTHER FORUM THAT THE TRINITY PIPE WAS POORLY DESIGNED WHERE THEY MEET TOGETHER BUT I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE, DO YOU KNOW IF THE TRINITY PIPE IS HIGH MAINTANCE, NOT THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM BUT OVERALL I WANT THE BEST PIPE BETWEEN THE 2 AND LOWEST MAINTNANCE. BOTH PIPES LOOK GOOD, BUT LIKE I SAID I DON'T LIKE THE DISK. IF EVER A PROBLEM THE TRINITY HAS AN AVALB. SA WHERE SPARKS DOES NOT.

Blount, Ive not seen a sparks header to comment on its design.

The best thing about the Trinity header is the y pipe(where the 2 pipes merge to one). Its a great design and is placed farther back (more torque) than any other 700 header(that ive seen). The Trinity exhaust has been known to whistle when you let off the gas. I dont like it, others do.

My best reccomendation to you is to look at every picture you can of the y pipe design of the exhaust you intend to purchase, get the specs on piping diameter, and continue asking questions. Once you get all the info and opinions, make your purchase. I wouldnt go for the first good deal on ebay without being informed.

You don't want an FMF or Fat Boy 4 pipe i didnt even know they make them more the 700r but i could be wrong. the CT pipe is prolly the best to get, trinity wouldn't be a bad choice either would be great i dont think the 700r has what very magazine says it has i rode one and it didnt really seem much diff. from the 660r

I run Yoshi full system, K & N power pack with lid off and dynojet controller and
bike run very strong and is afast. If I switch to 660 which have same set up it feel like snail
compare to 700.
