stock for stock could a 05 blaster beat an 06 raptor 350 in a race?

 

Nope. A blaster will run dead even with a warrior until 4th gear, where the blaster will start falling behind. A Raptor 350 is just a lighter and slightly more powerful warrior, so it'll pull on the blaster all the way through the gears.

 

so do you think probly off the start a raptor could win because 4stroke = more exceleration but in a long race the blaster probly could ?

 

raptor has about 7 mph more on top end, so the raptor will win no matter what (assuming equally skilled and weighted riders)

 

the kid on the raptor sucks at riding.

 

If you can get a good launch and hit the shift points right on the blaster you have a chance in acceleration, but on top speed there's really no skill involved, just pin it wide open and hold on, so the raptor will still beat you there (unless the raptor rider doesn't have the ***** to open it up all the way)

If you want to make sure you win then practice getting quick launches (this can be tricky with 2 smokes) and make it a short race, one where you won't get out of 3rd or 4th gear.

 

i was lookin at the 240 big bore kit or even some nitris but its risky

 

Naw a stock blaster with vs. a stock rappy, if your gonna dump all that money into the blaster you should have just added the x-tra $$$ and got the Raptor 350 or a Banshee.

Has anyone done that? I want that sor the dunes if they have a kit for a blaster. And a 240 kit from ct racing the $1500 one, with that you can walk all over stock and slightly modded 400ex's and easily keep up with a stock z. The kit puts out like 42 horses.
