I run 20/40 engine oil and engine ice coolant. Anybody have any experience with aftermarket larger capacity radiators or any other ideas on how you keep your engine temp down?

what makes you think it's running hot?? The fan comes on a lot? The temp light comes on a lot?

I would check your sensor connection... It's under the gas tank. You can get to it from the right side of the quad... just pop the panel off. It's just a single wire...
Mine had gotten dirty, to the point that it wasn't keeping a good connection, and was showing me a false reading... I had to take a wire brush to it... works better now... although I'm thinking of putting some kind of boot, or electrical tape over it, to try to keep it clean...

Yes, doesn't take much and the fan kicks on. I do have the recall changes on it. My grizz, along with the 4 other grizzes I ride with, all vapor lock(still). Just looking for something easy to do without purchasing larger radiator, which, I havn't even checked if their is one for it. The fan runs constantly and the engine light doesn't come on, that doesn't mean its not running at too hot of a temperature because it still vapor locks. I know the motor is inclosed in plastic, but, other models don't get hot like these grizzlys.

"Vapor Lock".......check your gas cap breather hose to make sure it's clear, not blocked up with mud/crap and that it's not kinked or pinched. This has been the case in the past with my a couple of buddies with Grizzlies and it will starve the carb of fuel.

Have you tried removing your thermostate, maybe it's not opening all the way. I just purchased one and have riding with others too. They do get really HOT. Thinking of putting on a switch to turn fan on in when on those trails that are tight and no air movment

If you go thru any kind of mud... be sure to clean out the radiator both front and back... There's also a lil catch-all area right in front of your gas tank, that collects a bunch of debri that your gastank hose loves to suck up... I ended up putting a "stinger" hose on mine to avoid that crap.

My `02 runs a lil hot... I haven't noticed it yet on my `06.... I always shut my `02 off when I'm not actually moving, to help keep it cool...
