Default Oil Consumption

Got an 02 raptor about a month ago, and have been finding that i have been having to add oil quite often. It is to the point where I have to fill the oil tank after a few hours of riding. I can't see anything leaking and if i am adding as much oil as I am, you would think I would see something. Which leads me to believe that I am burning it, but I can't see any smoke coming from my tailpipe at all, no oil blowing out the intake or anything. I do find that the oil does get discoloured very quickly not sure if that has anything to do with that or not. If I compression test it what kind of numbers should I bee seeing. Thanks in advance.

Default Oil Consumption

I havn't been on the forums in a while... but I will use your post as my "comming back" post. get a paper towel or a light colored cloth and hold it behind the exhaust while the engine is running to see if any oil comes out.

Does the oil look like it has water in it?
Check the engine breather tube to see if any has come out of there.
How much oil do you replace after running it?

edit so i dont look dumb
