IMO it's a great quad, fun and easy to use it won't be much of a change from her old Recon, maybee if you got the extra ca$h you should check out the wolvorine 450.

The recon is more fun to ride, the bruin doesn't feel sporty like the recon. The recon's brakes are disappointing, but if you're willing to spend the money you can put disc brakes from a 250ex on the front of it, and it'll stop on a dime every time after that. They're the same brakes as honda 400exs too, so they definitely have more than enough stopping power.

My wife has a 250 bruin and it is great for her. Does fine on the trails, definately not a sporty or fast quad, but if trail riding is what you do it should be fine.
