every one is telling me to mod my cam for fre horsepower, but i haven clue of how do to do it or even what they are talking about...plez someon tlel me what it is, how to do it, and how difficult it is..thank you

 

there is a camshaft in your quad that opens and closes the valves letting in intake and taking out exhaust. I have a hotcam and it gave me amazing power.

 

You actually "retard you cam" Basically have to go in to your motor to do it. So if you have no ideal about taking that apart... Then pay 50 bux and have somone else do it. Im guessing your talking about a 450?? I done it to mine give them about 2-3 bike lengths in a drag. Takes about 1or so to do it.

 

They are talking about retarding the exhaust cam, this aplies only to the YFZ450. You retard the exhaust cam one tooth. Not a major job but if you arent experienced with working on the interal parts of your motor you should have your dealer or someone else do it.
