700R Slip on vs. Full Exhaust system
#1
i just purchased a 2006 raptor 700r and im wondering what i can do to it, to get the most hp for the least amount of money. looking for a nice sounding exhaust and possibly some other mods. can u help?

It depends on just how much you want to spend on exhaust. The full system is going to perform better. Along with a pipe, you'll want to open the intake up with a K&N Pro-Flow and remove the lid for better flow. You'll also need a EFI controller with ANY mods to keep from running lean and add performance.

i think im goin to just get a slip on i dont have enough money for those computer you will save alot of money and get a good sound and the raptor runs a little rich so it should be just perfect

even with just a slip on it runs way too lean, dont do it, wait and save for an EFI controller, most of the guys i sell rappys to instantly take out the baffle or put a slip on exhaust on for the sound cuz they cant handle the extra power anyway, but at like 2/3 throttle it starts backfiring and sputtering and crap cuz its way too lean, save, dont be stupid.
