Default wolverine pullstart backup??

My 95 had one , my 99 had one, my 02 has one, plus every other one I've seen. Yes you can put one on; it's just a matter of gettin the rope starter and the flywheel attachment. Yes you can have electric and rope start together, that's the way they were designed. You want your rope start in case your battery goes dead or your electric starter malfunctions in any way. Yes you can pull(with another vehicle) start them.

Default wolverine pullstart backup??

thnx, that answers my question:-).
One more though, would it beat a trailblazer 250? I am guessing it would, am i right?
OH BTW the trailboss i was talking about was a 325 not 330. Are the 325 slower than the 330`s?

Default wolverine pullstart backup??

They may come standard on all wolverines sold in Canada, but not in the states. I do belive the year 2000 was the first year it was offered on the Wolverine as well. At least in '99, it wasn't on them.

As for adding it, it can be done, but it's kida pricey as you have to change out hte left engine case cover, add the pull start assembly and the pulley for the end of the crank. I've had my eye on ebay, and the side cover will come up once in a great while. The other parts come along more often.

As for them fitting on a warrior - blatenly wrong. Not even close to being able to take the side cover from one and adding it to the other.

I stand corrected on the US models; I didn't realize they came without the rope start down there. I believe you however are mistaking about the Warrior change over issue. My budddy was having starting issues with his Warrior one winter, so he swapped the rope state from his Wolvy to his Warrior because the Wolvy was a better starter(with electric start). Simply remove the flywheel cover, add the adapter to the end of the crank, and bolt on the rope starter. He even used the cover from the Warrior on the Wolvy(with minimal modification).

Ah.. now I understand what you were saying !

You are correct. Basically, for a Warrior, you can take the plastic cap off of the side case and then install the new crank pulley and rope starter - These components can be off of a Wolverine. I was mis-reading your post as that he had used the entire left sidecover from a Wolverine on a Warrior - which are not interchangeable.

The Warrior riders do have it a bit easier if they don't have recoil start and want it - Us Wolverine riders have to work much harder to add it.
