does anyone know what type of finish the t5's come with if you don't opt for the chrome? i have seen pics of old t3's and they were flat black like stock pipes. i want to get t5's, i just don't want the chrome finish.

 

I think all of the T5 pipes come chromed, but to make sure go to the toomey website and ask. They are excellent at respomdimg to emails. I would also recommend the "Hush" kit if you are riding around peoples homes. It takes the high pitched ping out of the sound that people seem to complain about.

 

If you don't get chrome they are nickle plated just like FMF and other brands.
