You guys who think the DS650 is a better machine then the Raptor are all HIGH!!!!If you dont remember the Raptor was WINNING the race until the AFTERMARKET steering stem broke!!!!Then the Bomb ends up winning and you think its kind of the hill now,lol.It wasnt even a factory yamaha part that broke.Why dont you guys e mail and bitch to off-road.com for rating the raptor a better duning machine and even going as low as calling it an OVERLOADED GARBAGE TRUCK.Pretty sad for a quad that was built for the dunes.Dont you guys have anything better to do but come into the yamaha forum and cut down on one of the best sport atvs ever built?
T400,if you need to know I have one quad,an awsome waverunner for when its to hot to ride atvs,a beutiful wife and a kid on the way,I own a car audio buisness that is doing great and im doing somthing I love doing.So for your information my life is GREAT and im sorry yours is not so great but maybe if you try hard enough you can improve it.Might help if you start off by laying off the pipe dude.

Yes true true,When I had my ds i could not understand why the rims would continue to bend one after another?????They come with douglas red lable and we all no they are strong rims which means it has somthing to do with the weight of the BOMB!!!!!!I no it wasnt just me because the latest test between the 400ex,raptor and bomber they bent all the rims also.Plus there is plenty of post in the bomber forum about the same subject.They really should have put on beadlocks or some sort of really heavy duty rims for the $7200.00 price tag they are asking.We may be bending rear axels but not one case yet about bending rims.Dave put that in your crackpipe and smoke it.Just goes to show that no machines are perfect from the factory.

 

I'm glad for you. I don't smoke. I am 21 years old, have a loaded Jeep cherokee limited for the winter, a Nissan 300ZX for the summer, a 2000' Yamaha fourwheeler, a Mach 1 snowmobile, am college educated, work for myself, and also have a pretty girlfriend, (just to make a comparable list of assets (liabilities really)). why do you bash quads, why not find something better to do with your time like trying to save this sport instead of being in here and saying, "ohh.. ur quad is slow my (whatever) could waste is so bad" or "awh the pewny engine of the 400EX cant even come close to cathing my Raptor" you know what i hope that a 660cc engine beats a small 400cc engine, well yeah i hope it would cause theres over a 260cc difference
