Do the aftermarket cams for the yfz make that much of a difference or can I just retard the cam and be just as well off? 06

 

Anyone have an aftermarket cam or have retarded theirs?

 

i talked to some friends that have 04 yfz's and they tell me not to buy after market cams they say get the timing advance or retarded. One of my friends have hot cams and his yfz is really fast but he even said dont wast the money just retard them. i also talked to the yamaha shop yesterday and they said to retard the cam and i have an appointment next week. so ill let you know how it turns out.
