AMP link?
#1
I was thinking about the AMP link. Does it really work the way it's advertised? If it does, I guess the mass transfer would give way more traction. But is it true that the rear susp is blocked under power (or is unable to react properly)? And if yes, is it true that that the AMPlink changes something?

i say forget the amp-link. i had one on my warrior and the bearing blew out of the top of theamp link and threw a bunch of slack in my chain, then my chain shot up and broke 2 teeth on my front sprocket, broke my chanin guard and blew a big *** hole in my crankcase,at least i think it is called the crankcase, well it was part of the motor anyway and it wasnt cheap to fix. I took the amp link off then because they wouldnt sell me another bearing and i wasn5t about to buy a new one. the truth is i cant really notice much of a difference without it, a little acceleration is lost right when i land a jump but thats about it.

Actually the AMP link does work. Most people were too stupid to set it up right.I used one for about a year.It did help my Banshee hook up a little better(but not that much).Yes the bearings and sprockets wear too fast. But if you check them regularly(same as any other part of your quad) you wont have a problem like the last guy, thats common sense checking this stuff. Also you dont adjust the chain the same way with one on.
I still dont recomend it.They are not worth the effort for what little it does.
