For some odd reason i think this is going to turn into yet ANOTHER pissing contest.

 

motocross, and trails, a yfz, because great racer, fun, easy, and for trails it is good because its a 4 stroke. Banshee's owns the power, dunes, and drag racing. But they are both great bikes. either or but its going to be a pissing match.

 

I agree with fastestkidaround. Trailriding or mx, the YFZ is more fun. For wide open places or drag racing I would be more likely to pick a Banshee.

 

Not sure on the fun factor, never rode a shee before and only had one quick little rip on the yfz .. however .. from a purely subjective standpoint .. I like the shee better because it doesn't look like another raptor. Nothing against the raptor, they're a great bike, but there's too many quads out there trying to duplicate the look and too many raptors/lookalikes in the yamaha lineup (50, 80, 350, 700 (formerly 660), the yfz and from what people say .. the new Wolvy ..)

 

MAN... I know, there is to many raptor looks out there. Its dumb. But I do like the way the YFZ look no matter what. Plus its a little bit, different from the raptor. But back to the post.

 

i dont think that there is really a point in comparing the two bikes, considering they are just totally different machines. anyone who has even moderatly ran atv's w/others in the dunes or even tracks should clearly see/ know the difference between the two. personally, i still love the loud big pipe'd pretty much illegal banshee's, they will never lose their potential or fun, not that there is really anything "new " that can be done to it htat hasn't before. i love these new 450's though, and even though somereason the lt-r dont just come stock w/a cherry bomb, once equipped with it, im sure the thrill would be amazing with all that race ready seemingly aftermarket-stockparts , if that makes since. welp, thats my 2 cents.
