I know both are great quads, but performance wise how are they different from each other in the dunes.

YFZ450 4-Stroke --- 1 Cylinder --- 1 Plug --- 1 Carb --- 1 Pipe

versus

YFZ350 2-Stroke --- 2 Cylinders --- 2 Plugs --- 2 Carbs --- 2 Pipes

Thanks.

Are we talkin stock for stock or fully modified?

The 450 will pull better out of the hole in most cases due to being a 4 stroke. Its no slouch in the top end, but a ported, carbed Banshee will hand its *** too it.

The 450 has better suspension and lighter weight out of the box.

Are you looking for a bike with mostly top end power, or more of an all around bike with better suspension?

450 is electric start and runs pump gas. You have to adjust valves. 06 and up chain adjustment is a breeze.

Banshee you have to kick start, synch and jet 2 carbs and mix fuel with oil. Chain adjustment is a nightmare unless you swap in a round housing with your new swingarm.

To sum it up: if you want to spend the day drag racing, get a Banshee. If you wanna do a little bit of everything in the dunes, get a 450.

Thanks Glamis700 for coming over to this thread and responding.

I mean bone stock, both of them.

While going up the dune, with the banshee once you hit the power band, the rear two wheels spin like screaming....

How about the yfz450 while climbing the dune, do you get that scream spinning from all the RPMs(low-middle-end)?

Banshee's own the dunes...For how much your gonna spend on a yfz you could buy a used shee and put a little money into the suspension to smooth it out...And then you would still have money to buy motor mods...And you would still have money left over compared to just buying a stock yfz...
