G3ordy, the 450 is a racer for sure. If you are thinking about participating in organized mx racing, go for the 450. Otherwise the 700 may be a better choice. It still handles well, and is definately a more comfortable ride. I will say though, me being the sucky rider I am, the YFZ suspension has saved my bacon a LOT of times after I muffed a jump. I don't have any kind of seat time on a 700 to say if it would perform the same in that regard.
