I've been told that mudrunners (goodyear) are the best snow tires. My configuration shouldn't be bad at all (gonna test that...tonight??) -see signature-, I've also heard the realtors don't fill up with snow. Jetting...no idea.
Where do you ride?? Quebec city or Montreal??

I have limited snow experience, but from what I have seen the Goodyears are a good choice. Surprisingly, the stock Dunlops on my Xplorer do fairly well. They don't clean as well as some in mud, and have less ***** than others, and are kind of 'squishy' (delicate, some call them) but aren't bad in snow.
Snow doesn't 'ball up' like mud, and I think the 'squishiness' of them helps them grip snow better, or maybe the terrain under the snow.
A buddy just got the Goodyears on his 425, and I think they are the better of the 2. Don't even get me started on the tires on the Honda in snow. I don't remember which ones they are. My mind tends to blank out bad memories.

Super Swamper tires worked real well for me the last two winters. They have a real aggressive lug pattern that will find traction in snow and mud.

I always used either Realtors turning in the sand direction (snows just cold sand, right?) or paddles. But no matter what tires you have on, don't plan on going through more that 8" or you'll be doing a lot of pulling. They tent to get highsided on the rear skid.

I've found Realtors to be best here in the mountains of PA. I've tried holeshots, and bandits, but the Realtors stay on year round now.

I'd like to know what sizes you guys are running too. I was thinking of getting some Duro Excavators in the 25x13.5 size but I don't know if I'll have to gear down to handle the height or will they be spinning anyway?
