where is the starter clutch located on a 89 yamaha warrior?

 

Inside the case on the left hand side of quad as you sit on it.

 

I have a question on the starter on my 88 warrior starter also. It seems like the starter is always engaged even when running. It makes a clunk noise when I shut it off. The recoil pulls realy hard. Is it the starter clutch? Is this an easy fix or is there nothing wrong with it? thanks
