I was at a local track the other day and there was a raptor rider their that thought he was big stuff. So I started my 250r and rode over. He thought my R was so slow and under powered, so I said lets just see who is faster. I beat him so bad around that mx track, I did the forty foot table top finish line jump and didn't see him. After a few more seconds he came around the corner and did the jump didn't stop and went right for his trailor. Pulled it in and drove away. I got the holeshot and led the whole race. I am just sick and tired of raptor owners saying they can beat 250r's around the track, when in fact they suck on the track.

I forgot, all you raptor loyalist in this forum. I can't belive that you can't admit that a twelve year old honda can and will beat a 2000 yamaha. The only type of race I've seen a raptor win was a drag against sport beginner machines. Then when the banshee with pipes gets up there, no way that raptor will win.

 

Once again rider experience is very important racing on a track or any kind of riding. And who cares about track racing? yes it is cool to watch and i am sure allot of fun to ride on, but for most people it is something that we see on tv and really is a non factor in rating the Raptor. If the Raptor was the worst mx racer of all time it would still be better than any sport bike out there when it comes to the type of riding the majority of buyers do. I saw the Raptor spank 4 250r's in 500 feet on grass. Also saw a DS spank the 250r and the Banshee also spank the 250r's.

The Raptor is the new king of every type of riding. It's a desert racer, XC, and MX king. Don't you see all those pro-MX riders giving up their "underpowered and out dated" 250R's in favor of the new King? (Sarcasm for those of you who can't tell....)

Most Raptor owners have beome more immature than the 12 year old kid's who like to post their amazing Blaster stories.

 

a desert racer? sorry to burst your bubble,but not one raptor even finished the BAJA 2000 must less win.but take a wild guess at who did .ill give you a hint,it starts with D,then S and followed up by 650.give up? ok ill tell you, it was the "DS650".as Paul Harvey would say{now you know the REST of the story}.

 

Well there you have it. Proof that the DS is without a doubt the greatest quad ever made, never to be bested by anything else, be all you can be king of everything. What is the proof? Top speed you say... nope. Great handling... not that either. It's because it won the Baja 2000. Thats right folks. So sell your Raptors, Banshees, 400EXs, Scrambler, and anything else, and run right out and buy a DS650. I know I am.
