Default Trinity power valve 421 4mm stroker JETTING HELP!!

Ok I'm a polaris guy asking for help for a friends banshee. This mod is a joke so far<my polaris scambler and predator blow this thing away!! I know that this set up should be much faster<so something is wrong!

Here is what he got: 4mm stroker crank(wiseco hot rod), PWK 35mm airstriker carbs,CPI in frame drag pipes,Vito's timming plate, and k+n air filters(pod)

It starts good,From bottom to mid seems ok but not fast. Going from mid to top in the throttle range it starts to spit or brake up then once topped it runs good but NOT fast.

The jetting is 40 pilot, clip in middle, and 162 in the main. Also the power valve has a 195 jet on it.

One last thing < would a hose put on the jet for the power valve mess it up( hose was put on so the little bit of oil wouldn't spit on the motor.

Default Trinity power valve 421 4mm stroker JETTING HELP!!

I had a race ported 400 Cheetah and a ported 535 Cheetah. Both used CEL needle with clip in the middle position. I ran 135-140 main jet with the 535 and I believe the 400 Cheetah was around a 150-155 main. Both of these bikes had CPI drag pipes with silencers. (On my stock stroke stock cylindered 420, the CPI drag pipes ran a leaner jet than the inframes by 5. Example inframes ran 160 main whereas the drags ran 155s.) I had the same set of 35 PWKs on both the 400 & 535 but they were not airstrykers. . .probably not much difference in jetting but no guarantees.

As far as the jet in the powervalve or the hose. . .don't worry about this.

I guess he is running VForce IIs or IIIs. Is it ported or not?? Sounds to me like it needs to be leaned out.

Daren

P.S. I consider myself a "Honda guy" LOL!

Thanks i'll do that. This is the help I'm looking for,my friends banshee is a shame,it can't even come close to beating my predator and it should kill it.
To staighten things out ,the engine is a mono block from trinity(cheeta421)It uses honda cr250 intakes with boyseen power reeds(on stock cr250reed cage)Cpi inframe drag pipe, witha 4mm stroker crank(wiseco hot rod) the pistons for this set up uses blaster bore(wiseco pistons)

he have problems beating you cauze he need some major porting on that thing to let the power screamin' out,
with a big bore kit it's even worse, and the cpi pipes like to flow massive.
