Default YFZ 450 Vs. Raptor 700R

I hope when comparing "race results" we are talking about 2006 models only. There is a difference ! When I posted my results I was talking about a 2006 YFZ 450, im sure it does not have a lot more hp than an 04/05 but enough to make a difference. Maybe the air in Alaska makes the YFZ faster cause it seems like down in the states Raptors and Predators are much quicker compared to the YFZ. And when It comes down to it they are all great quads except for Polaris. I just got rid of my Predator that I bought for my gf and it really was made of poor quality, thing rattled everywhere and it was pretty new. Also the fastest guy on a quad in Alaska who works as a parts manager for Suzuki got an LT 450 and he hates it. He's going back to his YFZ, when I talked to him he said its not made very well and the power was not even close to the YFZ or 450R and thats even a modded LT 450 so maybe in a few years the LT will get better. Also im sick of my Yamaha dealership and am going to buy Honda for my next ride in 07.

Yep

I just thought I would remind everyone how many times this forum has done this little exercise. I ignored the ones that included the 660 and banshee.

This was the tip of the iceburg

I think the connection wasted their money on such a capable search engine for the same topic to be started over and over again

No doubt about it..........I'm bored
