pipes turning blue ??

i have a banshee with fmfs on it that have turned really blue all the way up to the first welded seem. what causes this is it a lean or rich condition?????

I have read that they do this, mabe try spraying it with wd40 or something... might smoke, fmf makes spray to keep your pipes the same color..

my friend has a pro circit pipe that did that and i he cleaned it with wd40 and the colors went away and never came back

i always thought it was from running lean but did a plug check today and it was just fine a nice tan color plus it runs great.

when i first put my fmf pipes on my blaster they also turned blue.Its just from the heat.I think it actualy looks kind if cool.in the first couple weeks it will change colors at the first bend in the pipe.nothing to worry about.

chapperal has something called blue away but it takes some scrubing
