Well guys, i finally raced it. The 125 destroyer. Ive layed the beat down on quite a few 125's, and my friend tim has too. We raced on the dirt with my eat poop tires and he whooped me. I managed to chase a turkey but it flew away and pooped on me. But i wasnt done yet, so we went out the the road on a nice 500 ft strait. And we went from a rolling first gear start. So i took off and i wasnt expecting my bike to pull away so fast from the start! I pulled about 2 bike lengths but when i was about to shift into 4th, i heard him coming up behind me, and i threw it in 4th from mid rpms and he passes me when he is 5th gear pinned real slowly and i shift into 5th and i start pullin back up beside him and pullin away. Oh man, what a race. Those things are so close ratioed that he just caught up so quick. But we made it to the 500 foot mark when we were both pinned but i had passed him by then. Those sons of a bitches are fast. Now i dont know why, but my raptor is one of a kind and has taken yfz's and preds and v forces...(well v forces werent too much of a surprise) and it has taken 125's so easy, it just eats them up. Ive raced a 2004 raptor that had air filter and lid off the box and jetted and bafflt out and i r@ped him. I cant believe it, all the mods i have is a slip on r4 exhaust and a k&n air filter.

 

i railed plenty of 125's then i got cocky and went up against a yz490 2-stroke.... it wasnt pretty

 

Haha, you sound like me. I got a bit too cocky and raced a cr500 thinking i would beat it in top speed...thats kinda what took the feeling away from me that i was invisible when i got the raptor...lol...Tore my dreams to pieces.

 

lol yeah the yz was 3/4 throttle in 5th and i was wide open.....he still had another gear

 

I had a 2001 Kx 500. I had it piped and ported with v-force reeds.It put my in the hospital for a couple days.Stock they are around 62hp. Guessing I had 70plus in mine. Awsome on wide open spaces
