Does anyone know where I can find specs on older ATVs? I'm thinking about buying a 96 Kodiak for stictly utility use at the cabin but i can't find and specs on the machine. Any help would be great. Thanks.

edgerider, I own a 96 Kodiak 400. Got it used, still in the process of fixing it up.
My best guess is that it should have around 30hp once the motor is in the good condition.

I've got a Clymer manual for it. If you want any further details {oil capacity, weight etc} just let me know...

12 to 14 horse is about all it will produce, and thats on a good condition motor.

wow... was i totally wrong and off the mark by miles. I know these bikes aren't sporty, but I guessed because I know there are 125cc motorcyles (4 stroke) out there with ~10hp.
