What kind of gas would i have to run in an 11:1 raptor? Could i still run pump gas? Like 93? Or would i have to run higher octane, because i want a high comp piston but if i cant run 93 in it then i wouldnt ride it too much..

i beleave 11.1 is pump preamum. 12.1 or more is race fuel or oxyginated fuel. the problem with puting in a piston would be it will put alot of strain on other components in the engine for example the starter will crank hard and you will go through starters like a bad habbit. also plan on you're battiries being drained all the time. Theres a binch more things that just were'nt made for the high compresion and I dont know about you but I like to ride more than wrench not to mention that its no small job putting in a piston and can cost alot more than that 100 dollor wissko piston kit you're eyeing up on ebay. anayway if you're going to go into you're quag make sure you get an upper end gasket kit and a larger cam but not to big because you will suffer on the bottom end. Also eather get it bored if its scared real bad or get it brazed if you're going to drop a stock size in. You're talking atleast 250.00$ and a lot of work all for about 5 HP.
You're call

11:1 will let you use premium pump gas which ranges from 91-94 RM/2 octane.

Putting in a piston isn't a huge deal, especially if you have a hone and the cylinder wall is in good shape. The only way a 125 dollar piston and 15 dollar gasket turns into a 250 dollar job is if you need the cylinder bored and honed and you have someone else install all of it.

Make sure to put the bolts back in where they came from.I think it's the 4 bolts that hold the jug to the case. They are not all the same length.2 are longer than the other 2.We put a short one where a long one went and stripped out a bolt hole.Thought you should know.

Ya If you know what you'r doint it dosent take forever but iv seen alot of people mees up things in the engine and when you put a high comp piston u defentaly need to put a cam in it. Its the only way to go. As you can see I am agenst engine mods. Maby thats why my things are so slow? Plus if you go to a shop i will bet you it will be 500 atleast, Shoot they want 250 for puting rear axle bearings in.
