Default performance cap for raptor

What will a perfromance cap do to a 2001 raptor. Is it a cheap way tp get a little more power or will it do nothing and will it hurt the engine or do u have to re jet or just put it on and go.

I believe you are referring to a new endcap for your stock muffler?

If this is what you're talking about, here's a few things to consider:

You probably don't have to rejet. If you remove the baffle and depending upon who and how the endcap was designed, then you will notice a power increase just from opening up the muffler.

We designed and installed one on my brother's DS, and it feels like he put an exhaust system on it. He did not rejet, he only installed a K&N filter. If you are interested, we have also designed caps for Raptors. I can hook you up with one, just pm me and I'll e-mail you pics of his, pricing, etcetera.
