I have noticed that people here say that have stock raptor 660 they can weelie in 3 rd gear easy. My 660 can barely pop a weelie in 2nd gear with a 12 tooth sprocket. Are these people saying there using the clutch or standing on the rear grab bar or somthing. I am just trying to figure out if my raptor is running like it should. I know the valves were just adjusted and that the carbs were just cleaned and I think it runs good but it wont do what some of you say these raptors will do but it has a top end of 73 MPH. Also I have a 400EX and it has a tun of mods that were put on correctly and you can only weelie in 2nd gear and some people say with a piped 300EX they cant get it up in 5th. WTF is going on? Oh and another question how is it posible the yfz450 stock can Come close to or beat a stock 660 when the yfz450 are only 50 pounds lighter. Are the raptors really such pigs, I mean they got 190cc more......?
