Default banshee rear sprocket

Hello "since". Welcome to best ATV forum around. And nice choice of ride also. The stock gearing has always worked fine for me however lots of guys do change ratios. I can tell you that 3 teeth down is a pretty big change for a Banshee and is about equivalent to 1 tooth up on front. I just have never felt need for more top speed or any different ratios. The one thing I wanted to mention is that when changing gear ratios on a Banshee or if changing swing arm length you will often get into situation where you do not have enough chain adjustment length to get correct chain tension. Stock chain length may be too long while removing one link may leave you too short. The trick here is just to increase the length of the curved adjustment slots by about 3/8 in on each side of rear carrier if you need more adjustment. Good luck with your gear ratios.

Exactly what he said above. I went a tooth down in the front and had to take a link out to tighten the chain. Then the chain was too tight so i had to take a roller out to give it some more slack. Now the chain is tight as can be without breaking. I would reccomend going 1 up in the front, rather than 3 down in the back. Its cheaper and easier to install. Also will be almost exactly the same as 3 teeth down in the back.

With the mods you have, you would probably be better off with stock gearing.
Just my opinion.
