My dealer here in So. Calif. swears that the only difference between Calif. Raptors and 49 state Raptors is the CDI box. He says he has been told twice directly by Yamaha that is the ONLY difference. Anybody seen an aftermarket CDI box yet?

 

No no CDI box yet, but if the differance is the CDI box why when you change the exhaust they have the same HP?

 

Xtreme165....you are right. If the CDI box was different, piped Cali' Raptors would still be down on power.
