Im just wondering if any one has changed there gears on there raptor 660 to make it have more torque. If so what have you gone to . The stock is 13 tooth so have people gone to a 14 or 15.

Let me know please.
Thanks in advance

well, I've run everthing from a 12 tooth, 13, 14 and 15 tooth sprockets up front. The 14 and 15 tooth sprockets were great for dune riding, but the bike almost no torque.

a 12-tooth is great for giving you a little extra low-end for tight tracks. in my experience, the 13 tooth up front is the best overall option.

Low end power/accelleration is the other way, you want a smaller front sprocket or a larger rear. A taller front will stretch the gears out and drop accelleration but increase top speed, if you can pull the gearing.

I use 12-44 on my 01 690 and it works well for duning and hill drags. The minimal top speed lost with 12-44 is more than worth it for the low end gained.Of course your rear tire size will also effect your gearing and my 12-44 gearing is combined with my 22" rear tires.
