Whats this worth?
Alrighty here we go, uncle is looking into this banshee. Heres what weve got. Its an 89 shee ill list the mods. Bike is NOT really clean and the plastic is in pretty bad shape. The jugs, carbs and head are yanked out right now. The bike is a friend of mines so I know it does run (he is the 2nd owner). He blew one of the crank bearings on it and he says its around $300 for a new one (he cant afford it nor has the time to replace it). The jugs need to be honed out, they have alot of rust on them because he hasnt ran it in awhile. The quad has J arms as well.
Paul turner pipes
pro circut pipes
Pro circut spark arrestors
K&N air filter
New smaller headlights
Mud/Snow tires (front and rear with rims)
Bald studded tires in really bad shape and all patched up (front and rear with rims)
He also custom made a steel airbox for some reason.
Boost bottle
Some kinda bigger carbs (not sure what size or kind)
bored .10 over
Has new brake pads on it (also comes with an additional set)
He also has a small brake lever rigged for the throttle
Aftermarket handlebars
Also comes with a jet kit
There are more mods but I cant think of them right now. (ill repost as i think of them)
I just need a ballpark of how much you guys would be willing to pay for this.

I don't think i'd even pay $200 for it. There's just too much that could be wrong with it, and without it running you can't uncover those problems before you buy it like you can when you test ride a running machine. It'll be a money pit, that's for sure. It's a much safer idea to buy a running machine, and then you know it's not completely trashed. The only way I'd ever buy something in that condition is if I was buying it for a rolling chassis, or maybe as a parts bike.
