I won't be surprised if they stop selling the 350 twin shee. So they can come out with the 450 twin in the us next year. I think yamaha will start selling the 450 twin so they can get their sales up.

As much as I would love to see a new 450cc 2 stroke shee, sadly it is just a rumor and its not gonna happen. Im pissed that they discountinued it in the first place but that is the market now and most 2 strokes are getting phased out.

I can see where your comming from, thats what im thinkin. A 450 v-twin 4 stroke banshee wouldnt be a bad release at all.

The dollar is usually about $1.25 to $1.35 Canadian dollar, but not always. Not to long ago the US dollar was the less valued.

Damm! I bought the wife a brand new 06 because it was supposed to be the last year. I have a ATV mag that claims that 06 is the last also.

It IS the last year for the 2 stroke in the US. Apparently they are going to sell them in other markets for a little while longer, and why not, all the tooling and R&D has been paid for years ago. I would hazard a guess Yamaha makes a decent buck off of Banshee sales. There are some rumors floating around, we may possibly see an all new 4 stroke twin Banshee in the near future. Sounds like the motor will be throwing down some crazy HP numbers stock too.

I highly doubt they make a 450 twin 4 stroker. why develop a brand new engine, yamaha has so many twins to choose from to base it off of. why a new one. I would see it better and more likely they put the phazer engine in this "new" banshee??? 80 HP would be nice, but they'd prob detune it, even though they shouldn't. the phazer engine might even be cheaper, cuz they already use it in the phazer sleds, and componets from the yz250F, so the more production of that motor, the cheaper they are. if they could make a new banshee, thats a 500cc twin putting out even 60HP stock, had alum frame, and yfz chassis components etc. can you say #1 selling quad for 2008???

The motor probably wouldn't be all new, and it would be a safe bet that other existing components will be utilized as well. What I mean is the quad as a whole will be all new. It would be silly to put a top of the line 4 stroke motor back into a severely dated Banshee chassis.
