im a newbie when it comes to engines but i have a quick question ... i have on 05 shee and i was wondering wuts the best oil to use where the little dipstick thing is at and how to remove the old oil or do u just put in new oil ? also how often should it be replaced ? thanks 4 any help

this is the oil where the dipstick goes right ? not the premix with gas i use klotz for that but the amsoil dominator was only for premix would it be alright to put it where the dipstick thing is on the side of the clutch cover ?

 

No i dont thinks so if its premix, you need gear oil

 

so what would be a good type of gear oil to use ? i dont wanna dump in just anything [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I used to use Bel Ray gear oil in my Tecate. It worked great. Well, as great as gear oil could be.

 

I use amsoil synthetic gear oil, 80-90 weight in my differentials

 

I like klotz and havnt had a prob from it but i think im gunna switch over to ams oil cause its a little cheaper.
