2-stroke motor question...Help?
#1
Got son's dirt bike back and put fluids in and coolant poured into the oil area and came out the oil plug. What happen? We got it back in piece's in a bucket and decided not to let the shop do any work and put it back together ourselves. It's a 125cc dirt bike.
Any help would be great!
Update: Son said coolant came out first, then the oil did. They weren't mixed.

Had a hard time starting it. Would have to pull start it with my quad. They said it need work. I disagreed. I went and got it back. Took top end off and the piston looks fine.

Just because the piston looks fine means nothing................Did you check the piston to wall clearence? How are the rings? what did the cylinder wall look like?
If all you did was put the upper end together, did you get new head o-rings? one may have got out of the groove when you torqued the head....
Just brain storming for ya...........
