What is the best twist throttle on the market for a 660R Raptor?

 

I dunno what the best twist throttle made for one is...But my cousin has one on his 05 rappy and i think it sux..I can see some one that ride dirt bikes liking it.. But the first time i was on his it about dump me and it was stock then.. The throttle is so touchy..And im use to ridding my rappy that has more than twice the HP of a stock rappy...I just could not get use to the twist throttle...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I grew up riding dirt bikes and can not get confortable with thumb throttles. Had 86 250R with twist throttle and loved it. Its just what you get used to. Hey I met you down on the sandbar at red river a few weeks ago. Raptor and Predator from Waurika.

Yeap That was me..I ran out there to do a little tuning on the rappy.. Thats the closes place for me to go to get to some sand...i just went down there to work out some bugs...You remember the guys on the 400ex and YFZ.. they came up too me while i was sitting there leting the rappy cool off.. the kid on the yfz came up to me.. did not say nutting but look at me and say you wanna run them...i just said ok...we lined them up and my buddie that was there on the warrior started us.. and it was bad...LOL that kid bug me for a hour trying to figure out what was in my rappy...he was like what kinda gas is in there its smell funny.. haha.. it was a good time..message me next time yall go out there and ill bring the hole gang down there..

 

I have had a motion pro twist throttle on my raptor for a long time and I love it. I came from riding dirtbikes so I am biased toward the twist throttle. Rocky Mountain Atv sells them for $39.99

 

Thanks for the info. Doyal we ride just about every Sunday after church, plan on riding this Sunday about 2:00 till 5:00 or 6:00. Hey I got another Raptor needs quite a bit of work, Sunday will be 1st outing for it, to work out bugs. Come on down and lets have some fun.
