atv decision help

Hey everyone,
well I am looking to get my first ATV. Is the blaster a good starter quad? Would you recommend this over the 250ex? How is shifting gears on a blaster? Thanks for your help

250 ex is a good beginner quad but i would get a blaster, just because there are many more mods available out there for the blaster and if you ever wanted to go faster, you could. Shifting gears is not hard once you get used to it and afetr you get used to it, you will prefer it and enjoy it more than an auto shift.

the 250 is nice cause theres no clutch, but to me that takes most of hte fun away. its not hard to get used to the clutch at all. it took my girlfriend not long at all to get good at using the clutch. she had never riden befor, and in about hr she was fine. i got my blaster when i was 15, befor that i had a lt160 and a xr80. i still have my blaster now and 2 months ago i moved up to a raptor and i let my gf ride the blaster. the blaster is a fun little bike and every once and a while ill take that out riding just cause it was fun. the blaster has no reverse, but thats not that much of a big deal because its a light bike. id go with the blaster. you wont regret it. same with the 250ex tho. you should ride both tho and see waht u like the best.
