im looking to get alot of power out of my 04 raptor 660 and im thinking about getting a high comp piston stage 2 hot cams and new valve springs and probobly a new clutch... i am planing on doing the work my self, i havnt worked on a quad engine but i have taken lawnmower engines completly apart and got them running again... just wondering if it would be worth the while to do this stuff, ohh and i dont got alot of money but these upgrades seem to be relitivly cheep i dont know if i would have to buy other things to make these ones work... any help ?

Well I did my own work, except for the porting and and boring on my motor. If yuou dont have a good grasp on engine building, I would be careful, the little things will get ya, striped bolts, lost part, but with the help of this forum, a clymers manual and a good set of hand tools you can get it done. If I were to do it again I would talk to Bob Craycraft @ Craycraft racing. He is the man when it comes to Raptors...he can also tell you where to pick up the power.
