I have an 02 Raptor and want to put a slip on system. Is Hmf a good pipe, and how much HP would it add. And also which would be better pro peg nerfs, AC or Pro Aluminum?

 

Yes, HMF is a good pipe, it has a good deep sound and it will increase your HP significantly. I went with pro-peg nerfs and i love em, although i see alot of people with AC's. I do big jumps and big hills, and the pro-pegs are awesome. (I think you'd be happy with either the pro-peg or the AC's.

I cannot say enough about HMF & the people that work there. Top of the line on both accounts.

 

The HMF s/o is just as good as any if not better but you really need to get the full system if you want the best results. The stock 660 header is CRAP!

 

HMF makes very good quality pipes. I had one on my warrior and loved it. Was going to go with one for my 700 but they seem to be so popular now I wanted something different.

 

Yes, HMF is a great product. As for the pro pegs, aluminum is pretty good, but pretty much any ones with steel footpegs are going to be better in the long run.

the good once are :

The Sport Series is good for racing but you can also use it to ride national forest and public by some adjustments

The Quiet Race Series is good for public trails and parks in other words you can drive your quad
anywhere because it doesnt preduce high noise

ballance Fiber pro is the best in HMF if your seeking for high prefurmance its the one you should get ,also its good because its made of Carbon Fiber which means it wont corrode but its only problem is it preduces a very high sound and it heats the quad because the throtle is too narrow

thats all i know about HMF , to be honest i never used HMF and if you want my advice
if you can find SPARKS pipes their simply the best ,

So with the sport series what type of adjustments . Cause thats the pipe I was planing on getting .

 

Sport pipe has a quiet core insert where the QRS is made to be more quiet, yet you cannot change the insert on that one.

I think the QRS is about 100db, the sport is like 105db & maybe 98 with the insert. Youd need to ask HMF.
