Default wolverine brakes 2006

hey any 1 have any suggestions? my back brakes on the wolverine[2006] are always squeaking. there is lots of brake pad left and i have cleaned out the cooling slots in the brake pads. it helps abit but right away it starts to squeak again. very annoying. can anyone help? mostly at slow speeds, don't notice when going fast

Mine does the same thing, anybody have any ideas on what may be the deal. The brakes are adjusted as loose as they can go, they are clean and still squeak like crazy.

I usually ride my rear brake lightly for about 100ft or try to use my rear on some down hills to get it warmed up, usually makes it quit until I wash it, then it starts over again.

Mine does the same thing. Iv'e read numorus articles about wolvy's and most bring that up as a fault. I'm wondering if it's the type of brake pads they use.

Has anyone replaced the brakes and if so, is it still happening?

I'm guessing it's the pads or the pad material. I wonder if a set of aftermarket pads would solve that issue.

I know some car guys will file (slightly) the leading edge of the brake pad so it doesn't squeak when it contacts the rotor.
