Default raptor question?

i have been told to wait 5-10 minutes after i have cranked my raptor to check the oil level. I need help with this because i came from a honda 400ex that u did not have to do this. i have overfilled my raptors crankcase and it is starting to pi$$ me off
so really what i am saying is what is the point in a dip stick in a raptor 660. i would like to know how much oil is in my machine before i crank it up but i guess this is not possible with a raptor 660
how do you know how much oil is in the machine before turning it on?

after you get done riding wait a few minutes then start it up and rev it up all the way for a sec, that should give you your real reading. Or you can measure it out and ask someone on here how much to put in it.

The tank bleeds down into the crankcase if its been sitting a while. Thats why you have to run it first before you check it. It takes about a minute to even out. Its a Raptor thing.
