The Big Gun does not come with jets, but it does have jetting specs. My complete system should be here any day and I'll make a post after it's installed.

How is the BG's noise level as compared to other aftermarket companies such as FMF, WB, Sparks, CT. How about previous 4strokes(400ex, Warrior) performance?

I ride with a guy who has the BG pipe on his DS650 and let me tell you it is loud. In fact he wears ear plugs when he rides. It makes great power, walks away from piped Banshee's in a sand drag.

I to am waiting on a pipe system from Sparks for the Raptor, I hope the wait is worth it. Just talked to them and the first pipes should ship next week, I'm looking at mid-Jan for mine.

Last time I went riding we saw a Raptor with a big gun pipe on it, lemme tell ya, it was freagin loud!! ear hurting loud, but he was pretty quick on it. I would have to say the guy was in his late 30's but he loved it.

Sounds like the Big Gun's noise is the best thing going for it. If anything, it looks like it won't pass the noise ordinance that is in effect just about everywhere, which means that you probably won't be riding to long before your given a ticket.

Yea, I got it.

Haven't installed it yet, and may not for another week or two. The fit and finish is excellent! Also, Big Gun told me it would be loud before I bought it and said if I thought it was too loud then call them and they'll send a silencing core that fits inside the silencer (about $40). They said that will lower the decibles to the lower-mid 90s.

Also, took it out this morning on the icy streets...now that's FUN!!!

I have the Big Gun exhuast, yes it is loud. Only taken it to the dunes, so not bad out there. Everyone keeps asking about jetting. You need to change the main jets from 140 and 145 to 150 and 155. Both pilot jets go from a 22.5 to a 27.5. I spent several hours trying to find the right jets. To save you all time, make sure you ask for Mikuni little rounds (most dealers do not have these), the standard Mikuni jet is too large since the carb has spash guards on it. I had the dealer give me the larger ones only to find out I needed the smaller ones once I opened it up. Hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions.

On a side note, has anyone else had there raptor rebuilt already. Mine got rebuilt in October, chain snap and broke the case, Yahama covered it. I think I might have the first rebuilt raptor ever!
