Have any Raptor owners had your valves adjusted as the owner's manual recommends? Just wondering if it made a difference or if it's just a way for the dealer to make a little extra $$$.

Im going to do my valves myself.....the machine has about 25 hours on it....It is very important to have them done.....if only to make sure that the valves aren't too tight!!! Too loose might only cost a slight power decrease, but too tight could burn the valves by not allowing them to close fully.....If you are unable to do it yourself, have a capable friend do it or take it to the dealer....

bartolo,
Go back and read your previous topic(20 hour service). Or if you've read it and are ignoring
me, then ignore this.

P.S. If your wondering why I waited until I had more hours on than some others,it was because I had been checking them and that was when they needed it
