I pd. 6499 O.T.D. plus tax. i think thats the fairest price your gonna run into w/ most dealers. being the high demand for the machines right now.. pay anything less than retail, its likely the dealer's hot for ya... pay any more, your deal'n w/ a CROOK.

boy raptorwarr you got it the worst as for for the freight every dealer pays the same. like low one hundred $, and thats in the unit price. this is a RULE set by yamaha. and the set up, well go to my set up ripped in BUYING ATV. the extended warr. well i always figured if i can't break it in a year its a good machine. besides a service manual is only $30. i'll fix it from that. the paper work price is just CRAZY.

I paid $6799 out the door. That is $6499 MSRP + $300 for tax, doc fee, and registration. But, considering I only had to wait 2 weeks for my quad (I ordered it Nov 16th), I can't complain. I picked it up Friday. Man, I love this thing!

I would like to know if other AZ buyers had the same experience that I've had. I had a deposit down at T&C, but the Champion dealer came through first. Any AZ folks have like experiences? Better prices at different dealers?

I paid $6495+tax otd for mine and I walked right in and bought it off the floor on the 24th of Nov at TNT in Quincy Illinois (actually Camp Point). They said they had 3 coming in in dec if anyone is looking. I had to pay $45 for my service manual.

Well, I would say if you can get out with paying only 6499 you are doing well, considering the following.

My 400EX New in Sept 1999...........5799
Tax on my 400EX in Sept 1999.........406
Exhaust, Tires, Skids, Nerf Bars....1600
Total for 400EX.....................7808
Sold 400EX in Sept of 2000..........4400
(Negative Equity)...................3408
New Raptor From Dealer..............6499
36 Month Extended Warranty...........585
Sales Tax on New Raptor..............455
Delivery Charges.....................199
Setup Fee's..........................129
Fuel to drive over 500miles to get it 60
Grand total for Raptor (Wife has gun now) $11335!!

Mods Purchased to Date:
New Holeshots on Douglas Rims (EBAY) 122.50
UFO Handguards 60.00
GYT-R Skid Plate 89.85
GYT-R Shock Covers (Blue) 39.95
Carrier Skid Plate 129.95

Now we have Snow, and it's too damn cold to ride, so I have a $11777.25 Blue lump in my Trailer.

(Oh, yeah, and I bought a $6500 trailer to haul it in, plus had to buy my wife a quad that can keep up in the woods, so Basically, my Raptor cost me half a year's salary.)

Laugh hard, I do every day, when I make the payments........

I found a dealer that will let me have my choice of color. $6400 out the door. Just started looking into ATV's (never had or ridden one) and the Raptor looks and sounds to be a great machine. Maybe I'll get him to throw a manual in too as I know very little about these things.
