Default Banshee storage question...

I stored my she on the grab bar for about 2 weeks when i didnt have enough room in my garage to fit all 5 quads i had. I shut the gas off (duh), but now it doesnt want to start until i flip it down, turn the gas on, turn the gas back off, flip it up to drain the carbs then bring it back down. Im gunna take the carbs apart and clean them tomorrow (they have not needed to be cleaned since i got the machine) do you think this could be a float prob or if not any other suggestions?

yeah, but what happened is the gas dried out and the pin that cuts off ur gas in the bowl, got gas dried on it and then that gas turned chunky and rough so that that little pin cant move. clean that little thing and put it all back...but dont turn ur gas off unless you absolutely have to...because this can happen even when its just sitting on all 4's...also buy new carb bolts and if you get into a jam taking them off use vice grips...

Well cleaning the carb didnt work unless i didnt clean it good enough. I used 1 can per carb and sprayed all around the float and it still wont start if i had the gas shut off and if it was cold. Im not sure what you meant by "the pin that cuts off ur gas in the bowl" so if you could explain that a little better it would be very helpful. Also i cleaned my plugs, those were pretty bad.

i can ask my buddy.. he only has 5 of those damn things... and y would you only want to turn the gas off if you necesarily have to?? it's there so that when you are done riding.. you turn it off so it doesn't leak, or if something happens to the carb/fuel line it doesn't leak out... it's there for a reason... and i've never had a problem..
