so my neighbor whos like 60+ has 2 banshees and a sweet raptor 660, and i think hed sell any one of em, and i have heard that banshees are a lot of work and that raptors have some problems... is this true? and if so whats wrong with em?

 

In stock or mild form if well maintained I dont think the banshee would be too bad. They are bother great machines. Get which ever one floats your boat, odds are you arent going wrong. The raptor is more refined and friendler but the banshee is still alot of fun to ride. I have spent seat time on both stock. If you are going to ask which is faster there are close enough that is doesnt make a whole lot of difference. Thats just my opinion though.

 

I would recommend the raptor for trail riding and the banshee for dunes and drag racing...they are both great quads but 2 strokes will need more work done to them then a 4 stroke due to the higher compression...also you will have to make sure you mix the gas correctly on a 2 stroke and rebuild the engine alot more then a 4 stroke...I personally would go with the raptor but the banshee can be made into a really sick bike also...the banshee is a good trail quad also but a raptor would be better

 

what year is the 660? 01 and 02 have some starter/tranny problems.
