Default Had to split the case

Accidentally dropped my dipstick oring in the oil hole today on the shee. A 10 minute oil change turned into a 2 and 1/2 hour transmission project. Now i need oil and coolant. This happened to anyone else? I was so pissed when it happened.... Will regular car coolant work in a shee or do i have to buy some expensive stuff at the quad store?

Yep, regular automotive coolant will work fine, get a jug of coolant, and a gallon of distilled water ( about 70 cents at Walmart) and you have 2 gallons of 50 % coolant mix ready to go ( or you can pay twice as much for 50% premixed stuff). Don't worry about not using it all, it keeps for a long time !! Plus now you have some premix ready to top off the car or truck whenever it needs it ( as long as it takes the same stuff, with all the new fangled orange and other stuff out there).

Alright thanks a lot, ill refill it today. I took the brake light and triggering assembly off while i was at it, cause my brake like is broke anyway.

MDS: i just didnt want to have any problems with it later, knowing my luck it would somehow get sucked in a hose or something....

MDS2106 the case wasnt split, he just removed the clutch cover. The O-ring could have gotten into the clutch I suppose, maybe could have ruined the water pump gear, its plastic.
