Banshee Radiator Resevoir question?
#1
On my stock radiator overflow tank....
There's a place for a hose on the bottom, and a place for a hose on the top....
Do I hook the line that goes to the radiator, to the bottom or top?
And, Do i hook the resevior overflow hose to the bottom or top?
Thanks for your help!!!

thats the way i have it...
but lately, my cooling system has been acting really weird...
cuz everytime, i give it just a little throttle, coolant pours out of the overflow for the resevoir....
I think i have a bad radiator cap...
because the the radiator cap is only supposed to let coolant into the resevoir when the motor is overheating, and my motor is not overheating

The resevior catches coolant if it overheats and lets coolant into the radiator if it gets low. I didn't run an airbox on my banshee when i had it so I went to walmart, picked out a clear plastic bottle with a screw on top that looked like it would fit behind the gas tank cover on the left front side right above the left front bolt that holds the tank to the frame. I ran a clear hose from the nipple right below the cap to the bottle. I cut the hole in the top of the bottle a little smaller than the hose so that when I pushed the hose through the hole it would fit tight enought to seal itself off and then I ran the hose about 7/8ths of the way down in the bottle so that if it overheated it could push coolant into the bottle and if needed coolant it could still siphon coolant from the bottle to the radiator and I could always look through the two vents in the radiator cover to see if I had lost any coolant. If you want to get rid of all those hoses and the tank just try this out.
