Raptor sucked valve ????
I sucked an exhaust valve in Florence OR 2 weeks ago... So I am thinking about putting a high compression piston in it, along with a mild to moderate port and polish of the head... Never had the valves off before not sure what else I to do... Do I need to worry about making to much power for the stock rod??? What do you think??
thanks

Raptor sucked valve ????
I have the top end apart not the bottom end.. So the connecting rod is not easy to get at.. I want to do a couple of mods to improve performance and still keep reliability. I don't want to build it so much (686 hi comp piston, w/extreme head work, stage 2 cam and full exhaust) to break the stock connecting rod... If I go with closer to a stock size hi comp piston, w/ mild to moderate head work and stage 1 cam w/ slip on, the stock connecting rod should be OK??? I already have a stage 1 cam in with a slip on.... Maybe go with a larger size piston??? 673 or 686... What do you say??
